#2013constitution - Twitter Hashtag

This issue is both legal and political. The #2013Constitution was drafted to address the problem we had with Robert Mugabe of extending time in office. The fellow exploited gaps in the constitution to justify his stay. We had some among us so vocal in supporting him even as industries where shutting down ,throwing employees in the streets. HAD MUGABE LEFT EARLIER ZIMBABWE WOULD DEFINITELY BE A DIFFERENT PLACE. I know courts will most likely support ED's extension ,BUT AT WHAT COST?? IT LEAVES VARIOUS SECTIONS OF SOCIETY WHO HAD RELIED ON THE CONSTITUTION EXPOSED ,BETRAYED, BITTER. THOSE WILL BE THE MOST UNPREDICTABLE TWO YEARS OF ED IN POWER ,WITH ANYTHING POSSIBLE. IT MUST BE HIGHLIGHTED THAT INSPITE OF THE NOISE FROM VARAKASHI ,ED HAS FAILED. HE FAILED ON THESE: 1)water supply in cities ,if municipalities fails ,it's the duty of national government 2)health --- acute shortage of medicine in hospitals 3)unemployment hovering above 90% 4)transport system in big cities, dead NRZ 5) cutting 'O' and 'A' Level subsidy resulting in expensive exam fees yet he promised to make basic education free. 6) MY BIGGEST ISSUE WITH ED IS CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION. THE LESS SAID THE BETTER ON THIS TOPIC!!!!

Opposition member of Parliament Inia Seruiratu says the outcome of last night's defeat of the Bill to review of the Fiji Constitution was satisfying and if anything it showed the unity amongst the opposition ranks. #FijiNews #2013constitution #FijiPol

@daddyhope @GibsonSitholeM1 @BrianRupiya @S_Harudzibwi @mdczimbabwe I honestly feel that the future of Zim shld b decided by her citizens. Negotiated political settlements r life extension 4 failed politicians & their surrogates. We shld rather demand 4 fair elections & allow the country to move on. #2013Constitution #NgaapindeHakeMukomana

In addition, the (constitutional) amendments will include a provision for the introduction of 10 extra seats in the National Assembly reserved for youths — one from each province. https://t.co/VQlcGKnRkt

@fijitimes @Angry_Kpra NO! NO! They have other important things to look into. Instituting laws that affects media freedom is not enough? What else they want to control? Social media has become the only platform in Fiji that allows people to exercise their rights under the #2013CONstitution
