If you're gonna listen to @PEttenes, you should know the risks!! You can find yourself so moved that you're undone. When you spoke, Kitana, I saw people reach for each other, ask for tissues and even stifle a sob. Lovely to get to meet your mum, too! @AlzheimerEurope #24AEC

I might be biased, but the #LGBTQ+ session at @AlzheimerEurope #24AEC is always the best! With speakers unafraid to share personal struggles, and dish out criticism as well as praise for the organisers. Summarised best by Dáithí Clayton saying "No baby steps - I don't have time"

I attended #24AEC in 2014. Now that my mum has carers TDS, and having devoted my PhD and a large part of my postdoc research to #dementia, I have finally made sense of what is going on in conferences such as #28AEC.
