I made it!! I'm finally home. Starting to defrost. Very tired. And excited for bed in about 5 hours.
Feeling infinitely grateful for my home and my own bed today. And inspired to keep helping - so maybe I'll do #24HoursofHomelessness again next year! @ochottawa @EricBAndRagout
Someone made a special appearance at @ochottawa #24HoursofHomelessness this morning! Thanks for your donation, little man ❤❤❤
Last night, @EricBAndRagout of @ochottawa gave us a bit of the history behind #24hoursofhomelessness and shared some insights from participants. #OCH24
Good morning, Ottawa.
There are NO freezing rain warnings, NO cold warnings, NO winter storm warnings, NO freaking "special weather statements." NO "loose tyrannosaur" warnings, no "Thanos is about to snap his fingers" warnings.
NOTHING!
(But there are flurries.)
Thank you Hydro Ottawa tent for keeping most of the snow off us!!
Almost 5:20am. I think I slept an hour and a bit. #24hoursofhomelessness
Operation Come Home helps homeless youth in our community. Tonight, four Hydro Ottawa employees are taking part in the #24HoursofHomelessness to raise awareness and vital funds. #och24
