As part of the ongoing #Ffd4 #2ndPrepCom Session at the @UN , our Executive Director, Ms. Jane Nalunga, together with Mr. Tetteh Hormeku-Ajei, Head of Programs at @3rdworldnetwork, made interventions on behalf of @cs_ffd regarding International Trade as an Engine for Development. In her submission, Ms. Nalunga observed that global trade policymaking has been dominated by wealthy countries and their corporations, which has, in turn, hijacked national policymaking in Global South countries and prevented the participation of democratic institutions and the voices of the people.
