The NCSC says it has “serious data protection failings” and “significant shortcomings” and “risk of impersonation leading to mass fraud” and risks of "bulk personal data breach” and “risk of impersonation leading to mass fraud” and what's more “the current design and operating procedures of the system leave significant risks”.
Doesn't look good, does it.
But the NCSC can say what they like.
Who cares?
Ditto the Information Commissioner's Office, ICO, @ICOnews , who thought there ought to be a data protection impact assessment what with that being standard procedure and all, but rather than comply GDS paid a lawyer to say the ICO is wrong.
Are the NCSC and the ICO used to being treated like this when they try to do their job? Or is the https://t.co/VWJ2Le8avK One Login team a couple of standard deviations away from the mean on the spectrum?
