#4GScam loss to the nation seems like around $200 Billion that is more than INR 16 Lakh Crores currently.
One cannot connect the dots by looking forward but it is possible by looking backward.
The System which was formed to ensure equity was used to kill the equity and create the monopoly.
Let's see the events with dates.
1. In 2006-07, BSNL's total income stood at around Rs 40,000 crore, with profits after tax of Rs 8,000 crore. At the end of 2007, BSNL's value was nearly pegged at Rs 4,00,000 crore that is around $100 Billion
2. In 2007-08 Profit was around 3000 Crores (Approximately)
3. In 2008-09 Profit was around 574 Crores (Approximately)
4. In 2009 General Election was held.
5. In 2009-10 Loss of around 1800 Crores (Approximately)
6. On 23- May-2010(Sunday) non compete agreement Cancelled between Ambani Brothers(Reference-Press Release)
7. On 24-May-2010 (Monday) Onward 3G and BWA(LTE generally called 4G) spectrum auction started.
8. 16 days long Auction End on 11-June-2010(Some reports says 10-june-2010 so taking the dates confusion in consideration). Infotel Broadband Services Private Limited (IBSPL) got Pan-India Spectrum on and same day RIL acquired major shares in the same company(Reference- Reference link in comments).
9. BSNL seeks probe for non-standard BWA Spectrum which can't be use for commercial purpose and asked for refund.
10. BSNL loss continues and by the time other private companies looking for 5G BSNL still struggling for 4G.
11. Jio Valuation in 2024 is more than $100 Billion as per this link(https://t.co/IttUIIgwvO…)
Now there are below questions-
1. What a coincidence that the year 4G spectrum auction was held just before a few month, BSNL Loss occurs?
2. Auction was meant to ensure equity like all the ISP(Internet Service Provider) should get level-playing-field. If RIL has plans to enter in telecom domain then why not actively participated in auction and just a day before auction non-compete agreement cancelled and a few hours after auction results majority share acquired. One incident can be called coincidence, sequence of multiple incidence occurs in series seems causality. It looks like for the purpose auction was prepared to make sure equity between ISPs, is itself got used to vanished the equity. Bank Guarantee and all still seems vulnerable to common man but not sure why authorities are silent on that.
3. Why BSNL was provided non-standard BWA(4G) Spectrum while getting the equal price, If the same spectrum which was provided to private companies was provided to BSNL then it not only able to remove monopoly but also ensure the equity as public company care about people more than profit and have good network in less revenue areas also and for strategic purpose like defense it could be a great asset to the nation.
4. BSNL was $100 Billion on 2007 and Now less than $20 billion and Jio reached at $107 Billion and this is happened after more than 8 years of 4G opportunity miss and Infrastructure sharing Agreement with Private companies and Volunteer retirement of many employees and loss of many years.
5. Thus it seems like if BSNL was allowed at the same time then at least it might have added minimum to $100 Billion on already have $100 Billion at 2007. Unfortunately not happens. When Things were happening like any other common people it looks like there is something wrong with BSNL but Now when connects the dots it looks like a series of events occurs shows some causality which needs to be investigated for national interest.
