i also had fun going through amphigorey and amphigorey too and reading stories we didn’t cover— the beastly baby became a favorite as well
i loved being able to return to some gorey pieces that we read earlier this semester— i was especially tickled by the doubtful guest yet again, and specifically the topsy-turvy ways in which it seems to nonsensify children #604D

#604D any poetry experts have insight to give for “The Rum Tum Tugger?” The repetition of stanza 1 and and rhyme scheme seemed to mimic the back and forth of the cat, though the rhyme scheme changes slightly with each stanza. Eliots poetry was fun to read, very tightly structured
My link for Cautionary Tales for Children was acting up so I searched for the pdf myself. In my search, I stumbled upon a Google Books edition where some of the illustrations seem to be painted with watercolors. #604D
