It was a meaningful #terryfoxrun day today. We built stories out of loose parts that showed our understanding of #terryfox, discussed him in terms of the #6cedars animals, and used sidewalk chalk to write encouraging notes about Terry. #sd33learns

#6cedars and #storyworkshop works together beautifully. Here the children took turns telling their story to a partner while their partner practiced being an active listener like Wolf. There is something magical about those sentence strip "I can" statements! #SD33learns
