Interesting how quickly discussions on 'What to do about ACE's?' turn to specialist services and trainings. I'm not convinced that the goodies are always elsewhere. You don't necessarily need a special training to provide a stable, interested, caring relationship. #ACEsEvidence

Strikes me that the treatment you receive is fundamentally linked to how you express your distress. Those who express distress in distressing ways tend not to evoke caring / understanding responses, but instead responses that often mirror the original adversity. 2/2 #ACEsEvidence
