The Director of Quality & Safety at the facility I complained about smugly told me. Then they started altering my father’s records and challenging my authority #Guardian💡
@SquigglyRick 100% correct. The day before it was announced the @CoronersVic was investigating the Moe death w #ACQSC, I asked the ACQSC if my father had to be dead in the street before it would do something abt the ACF altering his records to cover up their negligence. She hung up on me🙃 1/

I'm heartbroken but not surprised. Glad that the cop concerned is facing court.
Now waiting for the usually inept/inadequate response from the #ACQSC. The facility currently has 4 stars.

It refuses to investigate staff altering resident documents to hide misconduct,negligence etc; calling this fraud…I asked “do they have to be dead for you to act?” 💡@DRC_AU
@Aus_Advocate @DRC_AU Many of these types of incidents are covers up in aged care.Patient notes altered to hide #negligence if the staff even documents them,if they do often they don’t sign doc etc. Corporate blocks #pwd,family #guardian from their records. #ACQSC names it #fraud but says #NotMyJob💡
