RE: Which Society (nonprofit association) runs the Journal of Divorce & Remarriage (1990-2023) fka Journal of Divorce (1977-1990) rebranded to #FamiliesInTransition (2024ff) (But retains its strong #AFCCMembers AND #ArguingPAS basic fatherhood promoter key players on its extensive Editorial Board (see my most recent 8-post thread today) The closest I could see on the publisher's (note: =/= the sponsoring society's) website was -- could this really be true?) was discounts for the AASECT, defined as you see below Of course I looked them up, and have just read their latest (not exactly current -- FY2022 YEDec -- public tax return. Naturally I don't like unfinished business on some major thread, so here I am again. If ~~>I~~~>had to suffer through (sic) reading all this, I don't want that information to be confined to my head space. Such is "X." ... Unless #AASECT has recently "come out" or renamed itself (which I doubt) my basic question still remains unanswered.

I searched “overcoming barriers” on my blog to find this and one other. There were comments below (and tags), don’t for get to read them. For how long ago this was, I remember how odd it was to see one AFCC member call in the others on a single case (in New Hampshire?). RichardWarshak is in there, Craig Childress, Demosthenes Lorandos, (William Bernet of course), and if you’re patient, you’ll get some of the sarcasm, like: “What is the personality disorder of individuals who need to develop specialized jargon for labeling all other individuals? Someone needs to develop this taxonomy (make it sound academic; this shouldn’t be to hard with a little practice; make sure to adopt a detached, objective tone before letting loose with a string of names to describe people who may not see the world as you do…).”

I searched “overcoming barriers” on my blog to find this and one other. There were comments below (and tags), don’t for get to read them. For how long ago this was, I remember how odd it was to see one AFCC member call in the others on a single case (in New Hampshire?). 3/ My sarcasm in a short thread is insufficient for the situation, which deserves much more. The irony is, I just saw a 47pg slide show (PowerPoint?) from some site in Ireland under Katz’ name, coaching others how to speak this lingo (which, again, #AFCCMembers & fathers’ rights activist lawyers etc. — there is some overlap in those fields— are equally comfortable speaking, as I documented in my blog & since here, in 2022) (it’s a set up for mothers)… With one page of DrKatz’ publications & two of references, incl the above two bc (Stark & Bancroft). And it ends “follow me on Twitter” without the proper disclaimer “unless you are a critical thinker & have other insight to some of my U.S. sources quoted, in fact, if you wish to challenge my findings…”
