Happy #FathersDay to the best dad's in the world! Boys, I'm proud to be your daddy; but being honest, I don't always feel like Superman. Living with #ALS has its challenges, but my love for you boys never wavers. Grateful for the opportunity to be their hero. 💪❤️ #ALSdad

One of my many favorite pictures of my #daughter from when she was 7. She is now 14. Without treatments like #NurOwn I won't be here when she is 21. #EndALS #ALSdad @DrCaliff_FDA @US_FDA @FDACBER

Father's Day has came early for this guy. The past 2 days, my 4yr old, has spent the evening in my room curled up by me. We've watched cartoons, danced & read books. Usually my boys are GO GO GO. This #ALS dad is smiling ear to ear 😀😃😃 #FathersDay #ALSdad #NotTodayALS

My #daughter rolled her ankle tonight in #volleyball warm ups. As a #parent it has always been my job to help my kids when they fall. Due to me having #ALS I was helpless as others stepped in to get her to the car to go get X-rays at the hospital.😞 #ALSdad #EndALS #DyingWaiting

A child’s first day #BacktoSchool2021 should be exciting! You know what my kids worried about before they left the house this morning? Who was going to help their Dad with the things they’ve done for me all summer?😞😢 #EndALS #ALSdad #ACTforALS #S1813 #NurOwnWorks #LoveMyFamily

There are a lot of hard things throughout a day when you have #ALS but the hardest by far is when you look into the eyes of the people you #love and see the toll that your disease is taking on them.😞 #EndALS #ACTforALS #ALSdad

End table my 10 y/o son put together because #ALS has made my hands pretty much useless. Just one of the things both my amazing kids do for me throughout the day as they watch me decline. #EndALS #ALSdad #GreastestKids #ThisIsALS #ProudDad

She will be 13 in a couple months. Really wish time would slow down, especially now that I have #ALS and the prognosis is 2-5 years. Not sure how many I got left but I’ll be a #GirlDadforLife. #ActforALS #NurOwn #GirlDad #S1813 #EndALS #ALSdad

Drove my kids to get ice cream tonight, probably doesn’t seem like a big deal but when you have #ALS you don’t know if you’ll will be physically able to next summer or if you’ll still be alive. #ThisIsALS #ALSdad #EndALS #S1813 #HR3537 @SenSanders @SenSherrodBrown @SpeakerPelosi

My heart feels like it gets crushed a little more each day when I look into my children’s eyes & see a reflection of myself wasting away at 38. They shouldn’t have front row seats to such a horrific show! #ThisisALS #EndALS #ALSdad #DyingWaiting @US_FDA @FDACBER @SpeakerPelosi

I am a Father, one of the greatest gift, honor and blessing in my life. Even more so because we were blessed with three children who adopted us. A family of 3 to 6 overnight, 8 years ago. I am the father of 4! I am a father with ALS. #ALSDad #ALSPadre #ALSPop

Not everyone's story looks the same and ours looks nothing like we thought it would, but we are so thankful he's still here 9-years post-diagnosis so we can say..... ❤️ Happy Father's Day! ❤️ #HappyFathersDay #ALSdad

He can barely speak, but his love for his children and acceptance of who they are is loud and clear and he's the first one they go to when they've got something to share. #HappyFathersDay #ALSdad

David can't lift a finger to do anything for his kids, but they know there is nowhere he would rather be than right beside them every step of the way. #HappyFathersDay #ALSdad

Happy Father's Day to the dads who are doing the best they can, with what they have, where they are. Life quickly taught us that you can't always get what you want and what matters most is not what you DO for your children, but how you make them FEEL. #HappyFathersDay #ALSdad
