@KarrieMarshall My mum always remembered the smell coming from the vinegar factory at the end of the road from the family home when she was growing up #AlzChat
@KarrieMarshall Could also include sleeves from LPs from the 60s and 70s. They were a mine of information, and some were artworks in their own right. Could help provoke memories, especially if into music and bands #AlzChat

#AlzChat A common assumption is that dementia means there can be no new meaningful experiences.
Many families say the opposite. Shared music, walks, laughter, photographs, grandchildren, and quiet companionship can be precious new memories.
