๐จ Galaxy S26 Ultra Teardown Reveals ALoP Periscope Lens
Galaxy S26 Ultra has moved away from the traditional L-type folded periscope.
Teardown from disassemblingparts (link in the comment) shows Samsung is now using ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) for the 5x telephoto.
What is ALoP?
ALoP places the lens elements horizontally on top of the prism, instead of stacking them vertically like in traditional periscope designs.

๐ Larger aperture possible (S26U 5x is f/2.9) โ better low-light zoom
