@anaesthesYOLOgy @lotusgav Intraop IV #MagSulf: though used frequently to reduce both #AcPain & #CPSP, may only be *beneficial if the pt. is actually *hypomag? Another gp: #PPI users (often are *hypomag) #ChronicPain #OpioidUse #majorSx probably have most benefit! #ChecksAllBoxes #GiveMagSulf

@johngeorgedon @Kumar_asra Without doubt, blocks &/or antihyperalgesics dec postop pain & #CPSP. Whether directly reducing severity/dur of #AcPain or indirectly minizing opioid use or both, remains unclear. Identifying pts. & Sx at risk of CPSP imp to study this further! @amit_pawa @EMARIANOMD @RAPMOnline
