Dismayed to find this on my journey home. First have created an optical illusion which, as a visually impaired wheelchair user, completely threw out my depth perception & I hit & scraped the side making the turn into the bus. Travel by bus hard enough already #AccessFail

Quite disappointed in @StarbucksUK response to a branch here in Norwich having a broken door access button for well over a month. Basically "thanks for your feedback". Staff are great, but sounds like corporate aren't, as the other city branch isn't accessible at all!

To use a more accessible option. @DWP @RachelReevesMP and @Keir_Starmer want disabled people in work and make the main support completely inaccessible to guards of those needing it!! #TakingTheDis #AccessFail
Just over a decade coming to the @RoyalAlbertHall as a wheelchair user and the merch stand is STILL completely wheelchair inaccessible. Why not move it to the venue shop, or put a ramp in like the bar has? I fail to understand how it’s still like this #accessfail #dontwantourcash
A year ago I reported the tactile paving had been incorrectly laid - with the tail for the cycle track crossing reaching all the way to the carriageway confusingly indicating a crossing point where there isn’t one. They’ve only repeated this mistake at the other end 🙄#AccessFail
Bus driver tells me the bus I need for my destination is the bus in front. Oh right, the bus currently boarding and alighting passengers in the middle of the road. Not catching that then am I ⁉️Disabled people of every type need buses to pull up to the kerb. #AccessFail
I’m the disability rep on the local Bus Enhanced Partnership and attend remotely owing to being CV. Way to get rid of disabled community reps much ? Make meetings 6 hours long (1-7pm) & in person. If I could do that I’d be in work not giving my expertise for free.#AccessFail
Disabled ppl were recently asked by @YNYCombined what we wanted to see at York station. What nobody asked for was the concourse to be turned into a performance area with crowds blocking egress & the passenger assist area shunted into the corner with nowhere to sit #AccessFail
After the almighty row about York Central wanting to use the wrong colour tactile at signalised crossings (which we won 🙌) Council now replaces old with grey instead of red as part of Blake St roadworks. Give me strength. #AccessFail
So @SW_Help have put new (701?) trains on my route. Had to TUAG on way home and #LeatherheadStation claim no one knows how to use the ramps on these trains. So @TLRailUK @Se_Railway have a staffed station with no one to operate ramps? #TakingTheDis #AccessFail

Not wide enough for a wheelchair user to wait for a bus without sitting in the cycle track. Wait on the pavement beyond & bus driver won’t see you to stop. Shelter, flag & bin restrict deployment of ramp. #AccessFail
Which meant that there wasn’t effectively wide entry. Added in that this door to bathroom was along it so no turning space to get through another too narrow door. Really badly designed and definitely not accessible. #TakingTheDis #AccessFail
Thought I’d try a sideways transfer onto the new seating in #YorkCentral only didn’t get that far as wheelchair sank into what is effectively quick sand. Further down, a bench that does have hard standing but an arm so no transfer space. #AccessFail
Had an #AccessFail at one of the @BanquetRecords gigs at Pryzm. I’ve sent in a complaint as they knew would happen and radio silence. Follow up emails are not getting acknowledged. Ignoring a problem does not make it go away. #TakingTheDis
So @Islington_AH do not know how to do an access area. We literally begged for 5 chairs to be moved so all the wheelchair users could see. They refused because people need the seats. There 8 free seats and we’re halfway through gig! #TakingTheDis #AccessFail

Watched this ♿️ get 3 successive access refusals before they boarded the 4th bus to arrive. They were all legitimate because the single space was already occupied by ♿️ Just shows how we really needed new buses with 2 spaces but got more with only one 😡#AccessFail
New bus stops open as part of the #YorkStationGateway. Unfortunately, they have done so without a single live departure board, timetable or map between them, which is unhelpful for visitors or those that are #DigitallyExcluded without smartphones.
