Let me address this quickly : There is no Adhoc Committee that cleared anyone . The report has not yet been adopted by the committee. The secretariat brought a draft , we amended it through written submissions. They brought it again, the committee entirely rejected it and altered what it termed a “complete ignorance of the written submissions . For example; the committee strongly submitted that on three directives by the Minister of Police ; the Minister misconstrued his powers on dissolving the PKTT and the monotorium on filling of vacancies at CI was illegally meddling with operational issues.
I don’t know what the media said but I know no vindication of anyone by the Adhoc. The report which says Adams , and the likes had no business meddling with intelligence information making flimsy accusations of door step brown envelope.
I will plead with everyone, including the media to allow the committee to complete its report and it will be made publicly. The media should know by now that what is presented in Parliamentary meetings is presentations not resolutions.

The #adhoccommitte led by @MYANC Soviet Lekganyane failed to deliver the accountability many South Africans were expecting.
After months of proceedings funded by the taxe payers many unanswered questions remain unanswered.
We have also concerns that the upcoming impeachment committee could follow similar path.
We hope it proves otherwise, but public confidence will ultimately on whether it conducts thorough, transparent and impartial process that produces meaningful outcomes.
South Africans remains, but as far as I'm concerned nothing will ever come right in this country while we have politicians who put themselves first.
