#AdaptiveCpp 25.10 released! Introducing a deployment model (compile once, ship to NVIDIA/AMD/Intel GPUs and CPUs), performance improvements and more! https://t.co/8w4rmMdoZz

#AdaptiveCpp 25.02 released! Introducing AdaptiveCpp portable CUDA (PCUDA):direct support for the CUDA and HIP languages in AdaptiveCpp's compiler. Compile CUDA code, obtain single binary that runs on CPU, Intel GPU, NVIDIA GPU, AMD GPU. https://t.co/A6mRuYsg5i

#AdaptiveCpp 24.10.0 has just been released! Even more performance and more features, including data parallel SYCL algorithms, group algorithms for the generic JIT compilre, JIT reflection and more! https://t.co/2b0xX7oQZa

#AdaptiveCpp performed well here - even though it had two performance-critical disadvantages: 1) it was not accounted for that DPC++ uses -ffast-math by default while AdaptiveCpp does not and 2) not using the AdaptiveCpp generic JIT compiler and its additional optimizations.

In other news, #AdaptiveCpp is now the most popular @SYCLstd implementation according to github stars, ahead of DPC++ and going strong!

#AdaptiveCpp 24.06 released! A new performance king is in town. https://t.co/qYJ2VMT8yN

Great episode on #AdaptiveCpp on C++ weekly. Cool to see how simply recomiling with AdaptiveCpp improved perf by 68x thanks to its C++ standard algorithms offloading support : https://t.co/BGM4BIyapa
#AdaptiveCpp 24.02.0 released - and boy is it fast! Try it to see if it's faster than your current compiler. Introducing substantial performance improvements, the ability for the generic JIT compiler to target the host CPU, and more! https://t.co/Xr0aK3ntQx

#AdaptiveCpp's generic single-pass compiler is its default compiler for a reason: It compiles FASTER, produces FASTER code, and creates PORTABLE binaries. If you are using the old hip or cuda targets, you should only do so for very specific reason(e.g. code interop with CUDA/HIP).
Need help optimizing or porting your app to SYCL with #AdaptiveCpp? Application deadline for the @iwocl hackfest has been extended to Feb 16. I will be there to help you with all AdaptiveCpp questions! https://t.co/xd9vSvQwFu
Since the dawn of time, #AdaptiveCpp has needed an --acpp-targets argument to specify target devices. This is now optional, thanks to the generic single-pass compiler. A simple "acpp -o app app.cpp" generates a binary that can run on CPUs, Intel GPUs, NVIDIA GPUs and AMD GPUs.

How much faster is #AdaptiveCpp C++ PSTL offload really compared to vendor solutions? See for yourself. Here is perf normalized to vendor compiler (nvc++, roc-stdpar, icpx -fsycl-pstl-offload=gpu). Higher is better. Blue lines are perf + and -20%.

Like C++ standard parallelism offload? #AdaptiveCpp outperforms @NVIDIAHPCDev nvc++ in C++ PSTL offloading for the LULESH app on A100. Perhaps this a good moment to reconsider your use of vendor compilers 😉 (Also, the AdaptiveCpp binary runs runs on AMD/Intel hw too!)

Congratulations to Aksel and all involved in the 23.10.0 release of #AdaptiveCPP, which brings some exciting advancements to this implementation of #SYCL!
#AdaptiveCpp 23.10.0 released! New project name, world's first single-pass SYCL compiler, C++ standard parallelism, production Intel GPU support, OpenCL backend and more! A huge shift in the project's capabilities. https://t.co/DWXb4EpvmQ
Congrats on the release, @illuhad! #AdaptiveCpp is an awesome contribution to the @SYCLstd ecosystem, and it's great to see you and your team innovating.

#AdaptiveCpp 23.10 Release scheduled for end of month. It's going to be the most massive one in the history of the project, with multiple huge new features. Don't want to spoil too much (if you're curious, try spotting the biggies in the changelog 😉)

More news in the @SYCLstd world: Due to external legal pressure, we have been forced to abandon the Open SYCL name. After long discussion with the community, we have settled on #AdaptiveCpp. This also aligns with the project being broader now than SYCL. https://t.co/aHBsz3NpcE
