Here in the U.S., the USGA only uses a gender descriptor for half of its events. Any guesses when the organization adds it and when it doesn't? 🤷♀️

Also not shocking to see that cycling hasn't yet added the 'M'... UCI organizes the "World Tour" and "Women's World Tour."

In hockey, the IIHF is consistent in its omission of the word "men's" across all age groups and divisions.
Are you a 17-year-old competing in the Division III U18 World Championship? Even that tournament isn't referred to as a men's (or boys') event.

No surprises here. FIFA, of course, organizes the "World Cup" and "Women's World Cup."
(Some would argue the women are lucky to have a "World Cup" at all. The inaugural 1991 event was the "FIFA World Championship for Women's Football for the M&M's Cup.")
