We want to help young people make healthy choices- they don’t need to see a load of ads promoting unhealthy food on their way to school. Enough is enough.

Our ad industry is so successful because it innovates. 40yrs ago we saw ads for cigarettes, now it’s delivery companies. In the future, it will be healthier food!

It’s so brilliant to see all the mayors stepping up, committing to this bold initiative and banning junk-food ads in their public spaces.
Since 2018, I’ve been running my #AdEnough campaign to protect kids from junk food marketing. I’ve been calling for the government to introduce a 9pm watershed on junk food advertising on TV, and for proper controls on what ads kids see online, in the street and on public transport.
These mayors banning junk-food ads in their public spaces is a much-needed and vital step towards creating healthier, happier communities across the UK, where our kids aren’t constantly bombarded with unhealthy messaging around food. Of course, there’s still a long way to go, but this is a great start. When it comes to protecting our children, we’ve all had #AdEnough. Big love, Jamie O xx
