"The 14th Advent and all is calm
In the deer park depths, nestled in fleece
Are the wood-angel workers tucked down tight
A well earned rest after a long hard night
Of teasing truffles from ice hard earth
About the…" #Dunster #Exmoor @talesartplay #ExmoorNPCs #adventpoem
"10th advent and the first to break snow in the deer park this morning
An inch of dusting and the world is white
For the haunches of winter broke late last night
No deer or hoof track betray residents wanders

"A sun pink blush brings the 8th advent into view
And the deer park tableaux wakes about me, as if on queue
There is a dusting of frost and a chill bright burn
As we inch ever closer to the solstice turn" #Dunster #Exmoor @talesartplay #ExmoorNPCs #adventpoem
"On this advent I caught the glimpse
Of a Harrier Hawk in a sky of flint
Coursing the holly hedges fruited to the hip
For mouse and feathered morsels
Out in the slurring mists" #Dunster #Exmoor @storywalks #Advent #adventpoem
Love never stops
As well as the first
I am the last I am
the last the victim
forgotten I am
the last is my name
my first word
the lasting word
ever beaming hope
for the last at last
everlasting love

Today's #AdventPoem is "If Winter Comes, Can Spring?" by Alvin Aubert, born in Louisiana - writing here on the confinements of a snowy landscape, "all movement whitely predetermined" #AmericanPoetry #winterpoems #BLM
Today is our #WinterSolstice, and the #adventpoem we’ve chosen is by @CPMacCarthy from her collection “The Invisible Threshold” @dedaluspress - for all those who are missing someone this season @poetryireland @UCDLibrary
The song calls to the young, to the oppressed and the neglected,
To the hungry and the homeless, to the poor and to the blind.
To the one who finds no peace in sleep, the one who dreads the dawn.
To the mother and the father of the babe that’s not yet born. #AdventPoem @markberry
Today's #adventpoem is the marvellous "Xmas" by @gagebybell, taken from the new Poetry Ireland Review @poetryireland - lots of fine poems in the issue, from @EleanorHooker_ @maryodonnell03 @goshtastic @supriyadhaliwal @JamieJamston & striking artwork from #ailbhebarrett
Such a moving tribute to #CiaranCarson last night @LyricBelfast - amazing performance by @una_music and memorable readings from #MichaelLongley, @Manuela_Moser, Sinéad Morrissey... So our #adventpoem for today is Carson's sublime "Snow" - "what then / what now"

今日は、いよいよクリスマス本番🎄✨
小さな幸せと大きな愛で、世界が満たされますように！
うちでは宅配ピザ🍕🎅 でお祝いです🎉
25.「Merry Christmas!」
