Public misgovernance in Africa will likely result in double jeopardy as the governments think they can continue with old paradigms and the youth assume #AfricanSpring can be cheery, according to the thoughtful @SamAmadi.

In Kenya, we are the bedrock of democracy. It is upon us, Kenya, to start the #AfricanSpring; nothing is more pan-African than that. A govt that doesn't listen to its citizens doesn't deserve to be given peace to govern. ~ Alex Mayore. cc @ProfPLOLumumba @HManyora @profkagwanja
#Ghana #Breaking #Kenya example of mass protest against corruption+ debt theft is finally spreading โ#AfricanSpring a few months late? They should demand 1. #fiscaljustice (debtaudits/debt relief, 2. #taxjustice, 3. #climatejustice (eg North pays; cuts emissions; reforests/replants etc), and 4. end to police state tactics
The Ghanaian youths are also mobilizing for a nationwide protest against bad governance in the country.

Although uprisings in Africa are started by military boycotts, can we now say we are starting to witness the African Spring now? (A real โspringโ this time) #AfricanSpring
Pan-African politician Kemi Seba, who was allegedly being funded by Prigohzin, has reportedly been arrested at the Cotonou airport in Benin.
Benin is facing mass protests of citizens demanding the President step down.
Benin has been in the spotlight as it's leader has pledged to support a French controlled ECOWAS invasion of Niger should it come to pass.
@RnaudBertrand @_californio Yeah we all saw what happened in the Arab Spring: dictators fell but were quickly replaced. Western spies will be busy at work in the background now. #AfricanSpring
@ProfPLOLumumba @AUC_MoussaFaki @AmbChihombori @Azali_officiel @Julius_S_Malema @mapongajiii The OAU,AU's precursor was more appealing, created a sense of brotherhood/sisterhood,oozed power across the continent and the diaspora besides being more collaborative. But again,"what's in a name"?~William Shakespeare. Someone might want to ask.
How hypocrite the World Leaders are. Especially the West. When the Arab Spring took place they were supporting it.
Now the African Spring flares. They condemn it.

How many of these countries does France hold the contract to print their money? All of them?

Meanwhile Mali (just north of the map above) has kicked out UN forces. This is starting to look like an "Arab Spring" style rout, sweeping out corrupt leaders across central Africa - but don't wait for the corrupt MSM to tell you that! #AfricanSpring https://t.co/9KCGc2ImKy
BREAKING: Under immense pressure to โpack and go,โ the UN forces in Mali have hastily withdrawn from the country.
Report:
The United Nationsโ peacekeeping mission in Mali has sped up its withdrawal from the city of Ber in the north after a surge in fighting.
The UN mission, known as MINUSMA, said in a statement on Sunday that โdeteriorating securityโ had made its departure urgent. - AJ
SO, according to MINUSMA, the UN forces withdrawal was brought forward (made to happen way earlier than initially scheduled) because security suddenly deteriorated in the Ber region where they were stationed and that put their Blue Helmets (UN soldiers) in danger. Thatโs what they claim to be the reason they had to leave early and hastily.
Also, Al Jazeera reports that in recent days, the Tuareg-led northern rebel alliance, called the Coordination of Azawad Movements (CMA), accused Malian forces and Russian Wagner Group troops of violating a ceasefire by attacking its forces near Ber. Of course the Malian government has a different account of what happened, saying the terrorist have suddenly gained steam and are attacking their forces, so Wagner and their army had to face them.
Letโs unpack. So, the new Malian administration comes to power and after cancelling the infamous โpact for the continuation of colonizationโ which colonial France forced its colonies in AFRICA to sign, they immediately asked French soldiers to leave. After that, they looked at the UN forces and realized they and the French soldiers are one and the same, so they ended the UN forcesโ nearly ten years mission in their country and asked them to โleave immediately!โ
UN mission claimed they were there to assist France in eliminating rebel groups that have made life a living hell in the Sahel country. The military administration in Mali doesnโt think so. The Malian population didnโt share that sentiment at all. Malians claim instead that the presence of these foreign forces have made things worse, even accusing French soldiers of aiding, abetting and arming terrorists and UN of providing cover for terrorists. UN and French soldiers deny these allegations.
When the Malian authority eventually asked the UN to join their French buddies in packing up and leaving the country, it was a hard pill to swallow for the UN. But they had to comply immediately. Malians celebrated this and China welcomed it, saying the west should learn to empower African countries to deal with terrorism and not sending their own forces on African soil to fight terrorism.
But reacting to the development, the US envoy to the UN lashed out at Wagner and Russia saying the UN mission was there to protect Malians from Al Qaeda and Wagner terrorists who terrorized the people and that it was unfortunate Mali was asking them out. France and pretty much all of the west fumed at the development.
Meanwhile, Macron has praised the French Ambassador in Niger who refused to leave the country after he was asked to leave. The so called Ambassador is practically under house arrest but he refuses to leave and Macron calls that โheroicโ saying France doesnโt recognize the Tchiani - led regime in Niger. Many wonder what the difference is between Mali and Niger that the French agreed to leave in Mali and Burkina Faso under similar circumstances, but now refuse to leave in Niger.

Win or lose @Wimbledon, @Ons_Jabeur #Tunisia, home to #AfricanSpring and still struggling for peace/democracy - set another example for African women by shaking hands with Russian opponent, who had said, courageously, with family still in Russia, Nobody wants this (Ukraine) war.
