الحرب على الأرض وحرب الكاميرا.. الإعلام الخليجي يروج لروايات الانتصار ويصنع مشاهد مضللة لتزييف حقيقة الميدان في اليمن بالتزامن مع احتدام المعارك في جنوب اليمن، يخوض الإعلام الخليجي حربًا موازية على شاشاته، عبر تقديم مشاهد مجتزأة ومواقع مجهولة على أنها أدلة على انتصارات وسيطرة ميدانية دعما للعدوانالسعودي على اليمن. ولعل ما بثته قناة التلفزيون العربي القطرية من مشاهد لمسلحين داخل سيارة، وتقديمها على أنها استيلاء على «معدات عسكرية» تابعة للحوثيين بالتالي تظهر انها مواد نباتية وليس اعتدة، يمثل أحد النماذج الواضحة، إلى جانب الترويج لروايات السيطرة على باب المندب وتعز وهروب الحوثيين دون أدلة مصورة موثوقة تثبت تلك الادعاءات. وهكذا تتحول بعض المنصات الخليجية من نقل أحداث الحرب إلى صناعة رواية إعلامية موازية، تقوم على تضخيم المشاهد وتوظيفها لإقناع الجمهور بانتصارات لا يثبتها الميدان. As battles intensify in southern Yemen, Gulf media is waging a parallel war on its screens, by presenting fragmented scenes and unknown locations as evidence of victories and field control in support of the Saudi aggression on Yemen. Perhaps what the Qatari Al-Arabi TV channel broadcast of scenes of gunmen inside a car, presenting it as the seizure of "military equipment" belonging to the Houthis, which turned out to be vegetarian materials and not ammunition, represents one clear example, alongside promoting narratives of control over Bab al-Mandab and Taiz and the flight of the Houthis without reliable filmed evidence proving those claims.
