#AlbumsofApril, Day 30:
#Soundgarden, Loud Love
Back in ‘89, I was working at #SamGoody. This album was one of the free promo tapes I got there. Little did I know it would lead to me not only being a crazy fan of this band, but of all of #ChrisCornell’s music that followed.
#AlbumsofApril, Day 24:
#VanHalen, Self-Titled
One of the all-time best #hardrock albums - the band arrived fully-formed from the beginning and delivered a classic debut. Can’t imagine being a teenager in the 70’s and having this ass-kicker come out of nowhere.
#AlbumsofApril, Day 22:
#TheTime, Ice Cream Castles
“America, have you heard?
I got a brand new dance
and it's called "The Bird"
You don't need no finesse
or no personality
You just need two arms
and an attitude
Everybody sing with me
come on now
SQUAWK!
Hallelujah! Whoa-oh-oh”
#AlbumsofApril, Day 21:
#Singles, Soundtrack.
One of the jewels of our #albumcollection. We looked for this record for YEARS, & it’s basically an #AltRock primer, with #PearlJam, #Soundgarden, #AliceInChains, #ChrisCornell & #SmashingPumpkins all featured. Classic #soundtrack!
#AlbumsofApril, Day 17:
#Prince, Musicology
Amazingly, we ended up in ROW 2 for his show in Houston in ‘04. The concert was amazing, but what I remember most was that he looked DIRECTLY at my wife @DeeDee_DT — I almost had to tell him something. Good album, but a GREAT concert.
#AlbumsofApril, Day 16:
#PearlJam, Let’s Play Two
Road trip to #WrigleyField in Chicago to see one of our favorite bands. The concert was SO GOOD, we met cool people, & we got to be inside one of the most famous US sports venues. Kick-ass memento from that show!

#AlbumsofApril, Day 14:
#Nirvana, Nevermind
The alternative rock bomb that destroyed #80sRock. After this was released in ‘91, rock music was never the same. It opened up to include the sounds of the underground, w/ bands like #Soundgarden, #AliceInChains & #PearlJam entering.
#AlbumsofApril, Day 12: #LedZeppelin, Physical Graffiti
One of the best double albums ever, & an iconic cover. We were fortunate enough to find the actual building while in #NYC. It’s cooler in person!

#AlbumsofApril, Day 8: HELLHOLE (Various)
This 1994 album is full of fun, talented #Houston alternative rock bands. Reminds me of the great friends I made while working at #JusticeRecords, working radio promotion for @jessedayton, #WillieNelson & #Waylon.

#AlbumsofApril, Day 6: , 500 Days of Summer Soundtrack.
In honor of @ToriDelToro’s birthday! This movie and its music will always remind me of her. Just like Tori, this album is eclectic & cool, and a perfect companion to a great movie. She loved @hitRECordJoe in it too.
#AlbumsofApril, Day 1: @theafghanwhigs, Gentlemen.
An honest, frank and brutal depiction of the end of a relationship, with a killer #album cover . “We bit into a rotten one, now didn’t we? I thought you knew / & now it’s through” is a cold ass lyric. #vinyl #90sRock #GregDulli
