I love when they do that #HocusPocus to me - allegedly written for the film of that name, #Roxette's brilliant single #AlmostUnreal was added to the original #SuperMarioBros movie instead & released in the UK #onthisdayinpop in 1993. Ace song, rubbish film https://t.co/NaPLfaLeL9

33 yrs ago, #onthisdayinpop in 1993, one of my fave #Roxette singles was released. #AlmostUnreal was originally written for Disney movie Hocus Pocus but ended up on the #MarioBros movie soundtrack - putting the Rox back in the UK top 10! Were you a fan? https://t.co/NaPLfaLeL9

Love when you do that Hocus Pocus to me! Back #onthisdayinpop in 1993, #Roxette released #AlmostUnreal - one of my fave (& most maligned) RoxBox songs. Originally intended for Disney's Hocus Pocus summer release (!), it ended up in SuperMarioBros instead. https://t.co/NaPLfaLeL9

After working on the @smbmovie 30th Anniversary Release, I was sent a complimentary copy. Thank you Steve Applebaum, and I'll always badger @samanthamathis & @JohnLeguizamo for a Luigi × Daisy fan sequel. Much love @UmbrellaEnt. #WalkTheDinosaur #AlmostUnreal @NintendoAmerica

Happy 30th to the UK release of one of my fave #Roxette songs (and one of their least fave) - #AlmostUnreal from the 90s #SuperMarioBrosMovie was out #onthisdayinpop in 1993. I always loved when they did that #hocuspocus on this song - a lovely top 10 hit https://t.co/NaPLfaLeL9

Love when you do that #HocusPocus to me! Happy 30th to one of my fave #Roxette singles (& one they didn't like)! #AlmostUnreal (almost from Hocus Pocus then given to #SuperMarioBros) was released in the US #onthisdayinpop in 1993. Are you a fan of this? https://t.co/NaPLfaLeL9
