@_PaulMonaghan 1965 my school had a “spintharoscope” that we were given to watch radioactive decay. “A seed of radium is suspended inside a short brass tube, in front of a zinc screen. Radioactive particles glow when they hit the zinc & the effect is observed through a glass lens”. #alsocrazy
