@ankit_0101 @shetty_rishab Mostly #Alupa kings ruled the coastal region during that time. They are shown as savage, primitive, cunning tyrants who practiced black magic. While #India celebrates it as it's history & mythology, maker's conveniently put a disclaimer that it is all fictional

Bantakall / Hero stones were erected by #Alupa kings of #Tulunad for soldiers/warriors who died in battles. About a mile from #Katpadi, in a village named #kukarlu you find this pair of bantakall named as 'Baggana kall' or Bagga kallu. It is believed that they were brothers.

An inscription belonging to the period of #Alupa King Kulashekara has found in Malali. This is the clear sign of existence of Tulu script to write #Tulu language. This inscription has both Tulu&Kannada written in a single stone. Kannada script is used for Kannada & Tulu for Tulu.
