@TimekeepingLib Reminds us of the challenge #ApprenticePaddy had making synthetic jewels. The sapphire worked first time but it took 5 long, tortuous attempts to make a ruby. Obs this was a task that most watchmakers don't have to do themselves now but worth being able to #practicemakesperfect
