Congratulations to #Hamlet, the #GrandChampion of our #AprilAbsurdity #tournament! It's certainly not a SHOCK to have Hamlet land atop the heap -- it's a towering literary and theatrical achievement. It came in as the fourth seed (right behind Midsummer!) on our bracket. ++

#AprilAbsurdity #tournament #ShakespeareBracket #KingRichardII is so important! It sets the stage for the 8 part Henriad, and is (one of) the loveliest History play. But #JuliusCaesar remains an accusing study of loyalty, to state or person. A real tossup.
