6 years ago my friend #AriFuld got killed, by an Arab terrorist, while standing outside a store talking on his phone. We'd known each other since teenhood & became much closer friends in adulthood. His contributions to, & love for, the Jewish people were unparalleled & the balls that he had were unapologetic. He demanded the truth be told. He insisted on accuracy & authenticity. He did not let anyone get away w/ lies or misinformation. He was strong, a wonderful soul, a family man & I admired him a great deal (and I told him so on numerous occasions)
Shortly after his death I wrote this song for him. I hope that I acquire a fraction of his tenacity & knowledge of Torah & Jewish history.
His neshama (soul) should have an aliya (be uplifted) and his name should continue to be a source of inspiration for Jews around the world and be a f*ck you to all our enemies.
