I am glad to see Keir Starmer's departure as Prime Minister and leader of the Labour Party in Britain. He rewarded Palestinian terrorists by recognising a Palestinian state while Hamas was still holding hostages in horrific conditions. When Micheal Martin, Simon Harris, and Mary Lou McDonald are replaced as leaders of their parties in Ireland, I will be pleased to see them go as well, for the same reasons. Their reward and support of rewarding Palestinian terrorism, by recognising a Palestinian state, while Hamas were still holding hostages suggested to me that they do not support the fight against terror. And I firmly believe that if a cause uses terrorism to try to achieve its aims, then that cause should be set back and not rewarded. I firmly believe that political leadership requires a strong moral compass, and I believe they all fall significantly short of that.
