Vel is a courageous woman who stood against tyranny when everyone else took the easy route Frm her HamaJamiyya days to her advocacy within & outside JSC on #Article285 the nation owes her a debt In 2010 NGOs launched "just" campaign to complement her work. She needs "Insaaf" nw

Basically what Velezinee’s #Article285 fight was about. Judges aren’t qualified.

Are our Judges qualified enough to be in their posts? They issued a warrant to arrest a mentally ill person

MAGs freedom fighters calling for her arrest because of crimes against Islam? "Friday Muslims" who sin on a daily basis, whilst in sound mind, calling for her head? Justice Crusaders, silent on injustice against the one person who stood up against our judisiciary? #Article285

@Fareesha3 These are the issues in our #MvInjustice system that the public must not, will not and cannot accept as a way to be, as a society or nation of humans. #Maldives desperately needs a functional @judiciarymv fit for humans, not just name boards on buildings. @Fasaanaa #Article285

Back then, the only politician/political party to agree with @Velezinee and acknowledge that ignoring #article285 is unlawful was Adhaalath Party. They said it's something we have to weep about in the future. They knew!
