Saya menyambut baik pengumuman oleh satu lagi syarikat gergasi teknologi dunia Oracle, terkait pembukaan pusat awan awam pertamanya di Malaysia dengan pelaburan berjumlah US$6.5 bilion. Keputusan Ini mencerminkan keyakinan dan komitmen syarikat-syarikat dunia terhadap potensi Malaysia sebagai pintu masuk bagi infrastruktur awan dan menyokong pertumbuhan ekosistem kecerdasan buatan (AI) serantau. Kejelasan dasar dan pendekatan kerjasama strategik yang dilaksanakan Kerajaan MADANI telah berjaya menarik pelaburan daripada syarikat teknologi utama dunia seperti Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google dan terkini Oracle. Keseluruhan projek yang diumumkan oleh syarikat-syarikat ini sehingga kini melibatkan pelaburan keseluruhan yang dianggarkan bernilai US$16.9 bilion (RM70.3 bilion). Penting bagi tenaga kerja dan syarikat tempatan merebut peluang sebaiknya daripada pelaburan-pelaburan ini. Dalam beberapa siri perbincangan bersama pelabur termasuk pengurusan tertinggi syarikat-syarikat tersebut, saya tekankan kepentingan perluasan manfaat jangka panjang kepada Malaysia, termasuk pembangunan pusat kecemerlangan, fakulti AI dan pemerkasaan kumpulan masyarakat. Saya yakin dengan sokongan semua pihak, matlamat dan sasaran Ekonomi MADANI akan dapat dicapai, Insya-Allah. ================== I welcome the announcement made by another global technology giant, Oracle, to open their first public cloud center in Malaysia with an investment amounting to US$6.5 billion. This decision reflects the confidence and commitment of global companies in Malaysia's potential as a regional gateway for cloud infrastructure and supporting the growth of the regional artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem. The clarity of policies and strategic cooperation approach implemented by the MADANI Government has successfully attracted investment from the world's leading technology companies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google and most recently Oracle. The entire project announced by these companies so far involves an estimated investment worth US$16.9 billion (RM70.3 billion). It is important for local workforce and companies to seize the best opportunities from these investments. In a series of discussions with investors including the top management of these companies, I emphasized the importance of expanding long-term benefits to Malaysia including the development of centers of excellence, AI faculty and the empowerment of community groups.
