Hell no, people of color can be gatekeepers too when they don't actively work to deconstruct these racist systems. Some people are just happy to be here. And that does more damage than anything else. #Askparentsofcolor Don't shoot the messenger.

I would love to see educators embrace culturally sustaining and translanguaging approaches to teach to ensure the the learning environment is equitable and humanizing for all who are in it.

Teachers of color are citizens of color.
Teachers of color have an entry point for understanding possible experiences of their students of color.
