⚠ 2 "large cats" (likely bobcats) were spotted on the #AtlanticViewTrail. Use caution, keep dogs on leash & children close at hand. You'd be surprised at how often you're near such animals without ever seeing them. They stay away, quietly unseen 99% of the time. Play it safe.

Great day for a #bikeride until you get a flat. Anyway the #Shearwaterflyer trail and the #saltmarshtrail to #atlanticviewtrail are all clear of #hurricanefiona debris. Thanks to all the volunteers who worked hard.

Looking for an east coast adventure, the #AtlanticViewTrail is perhaps the most scenic of #Halifax’s #rails-to-trails routes. At 10km in length, it’s an easy trail to accomplish by bike or by foot. /🍁\ 📷: @Maxwellsmart #AtlanticviewTrail #TGT #TheGreatTrail #Hike

🆕Guide: The Shearwater Flyer #RailsToTrails. A pleasant 8km (one way) walk, jog or🚲#bikeride. Enjoyable by itself or as part of a longer 25km adventure along #Halifax's ultra-scenic #SaltMarshTrail & #AtlanticViewTrail. https://t.co/X6LunSKBgz

@chitnislab Saurabh (@chitnislab) himself, at West Lawrencetown Road. This is where the #SaltMarshTrail turns into the #AtlanticViewTrail, and #LawrencetownBeach is about 3.5 km east of here.

@AshleyJVField @globalhalifax 🙋🏼‍♀️ My Beau & I visited #saltmarshtrail & #atlanticviewtrail on our bikes, as they are both very long trails many people were spread out, especially Atlantic View (very few ppl) If ppl are gauging the trails by cars parked at trailhead, it is not a true measure

Explored the #AtlanticViewTrail today with M+P. Departed from #LawrencetownBeach and covered 8km in total along the shoreline. Was very warm so I enjoyed a dip in the ocean. 😃 #BTPosse #BeachDog

June 8/18 ⁦@nsgov⁩ ⁦@NS_TIR⁩ has paved & patched Hwy 207 by Lawrencetown Beach. The bump is gone! But the rest of the beach repair & Parking Lot clearing of rocks awaits until later this year. @NS_DNR⁩ #SaltmarshTrail #AtlanticviewTrail ⁦@surfnovascotia⁩
