Pressing for early implementation of the long standing demand ie, the early implementation of #AutonomousState, and discussed issues related to Implementation of Karbi Accord 2021, we submitted a memorandum to Dr @himantabiswa, Hon’ble Chief Minister and he had given us his assurance to arrange a meeting with the Sjt @narendramodi Ji, Hon'ble Prime Minister soon. Besides, assurances were given to us for holding a tripartite talks meeting within three months to address our grievances.
The HCM also noted the following points after a prolong discussion on Implementation of Karbi Accord 2021 in accordance with Memorandum of Settlement 2021:
1) Airport will soon be set up in Karbi Anglong which is under process.
2)The Government of Assam will set up a Karbi Welfare Council for focused development of Karbi People living outside KAAC area.
3) For Notifying Karbi Language as an Associate Language and popularising the Karbi Language at National Level, the Government of Assam is awaiting a proposal from committee constituted by KAAC.

During a press meet at State #BJP Office, in Guwahati, I reiterated the longstanding demand of the people of #KarbiAnglong & #DimaHasao for early implementation of #AutonomousState in the presence of H/ Minister @Pijush_hazarika, H/ MP @horensingbey, EM Mongol Sing Timung.
Held a meeting with social & students organizations to discuss the issue of #AutonomousState Demand. The three Hills districts of #KarbiAnglong, West Karbi Anglong, and #DimaHasao need to come together and demand for statehood during the forthcoming Winter Parliament session.
Fact finding questions by the Parliament on #AutonomousState demand by #KarbiAnglong and #DimaHasao, under Article 244A of the Constitution, a positive development, after our Hon'ble MP @horensingbey raised the issue in Parliament.
