Top Tweets for #AworiState
Until all you Yorùbá influencers stop calling it Lagos and instead use your platform to twit #AworiState & #IjebuState, everyone will keep feeling entitled to rule over the Ijẹbu and Àwórì lands that were carved out to create this region named after the Portuguese 'Lacobriga'.
Some of you deserve to be taken to psychiatric facilities for proper evaluation. Wèrè gidi ń ṣeyín. Ẹ̀ sì ń sínwín gidi gan.
For anyone who's looking forward to a day when Igbos will rule Lagos, you will wait forever. It won't happen.
@AdeJesuRe @SameBunny0 @SameBunny0 should check my timeline. I've always insisted on it by using the #AworiState #EkoState #IjebuState

@SameBunny0 I stated a more decisive version of this view on a space as a partial measure to curb the widespread misinformation about this part of Yorùbáland belonging to no man. Some Yorùbás objected, hinting at how much of a bad idea it is, implying that the 🇵🇹-given label should remain.
@AOluwaseun_JO Restructure Ogun and Lagos into #AworiState, #IjẹbuState & #EgbaState for proper representation, which will go far to solve several issues that could lead to avoidable problems in the future. The Ondos are a significant subset of the Yorùbá people, and #OndoState already exists.
@Lord_Of_Warri @inecnigeria I think a better solution to these is to merge our Itsẹkiri people back to Ondo or carve a state for them called Warri State. #AworiState #IjebuState #WarriState
