ICYMI: Here’s a quick highlight from my recent message on Liberal anti-energy laws. Canada is the 4th largest oil producer in the world, and Canadian oil powers the essentials people rely on every day, from fuel and food to medical equipment, cars, phones, and countless products. But Liberals imposed Bill C-48, their shipping ban, to block Canadian oil from reaching Asian markets and keep Canadian resources landlocked. Conservatives will fight to repeal and reform anti-energy Liberal laws, get Ottawa out of the way, and let responsibly produced Canadian energy create jobs, security, and prosperity for all Canadians.

I said it. Now the text confirms it. Carney told Canadians tolls wouldn’t be split with the US until our $6.4 billion debt was repaid. That’s not what he signed. The actual agreement doesn’t mention debt repayment at all. “Net” only means toll revenue minus operating costs, staffing, maintenance, snow removal. Not debt. The US gets 50% of that starting now, plus veto power over any toll hike above 10%. Canada paid for this bridge in full. Now we’re sending Washington a cut before we’ve even recouped our own money, and Carney’s government won’t say how much longer that adds to the payback. Say what the deal actually says next time.
