d15N concentrations higher in starved animals - signal that they are eating protein, but wilderbeests are herbivores - likely this is a sign they are feeding on themselves.

Last talk before lunch is by Karine Heerah who is talking about sea bass ecology from high resolution data. Large data sets require data reduction, here Karine used a Fourier transform to extract periodicity in depth patterns at multiple scales #BESQuantMove2019
