@helpmenaomi @BGbloggers Ugh YES! And I think that's why at one point I got lost in blogging. I was trying to be like the big gurus and I didn't feel authentic anymore. That's why I haven't done it in awhile. Even calling it email marketing makes me feel icky. It needs a new name lol #BGBloggersChat
@BGbloggers I rarely sell in email. That may change when I grow, but for now it’s just my blog posts and mindset newsletter that go out weekly. I will never send more promotion material than I do engaging and educational email. I email for my readers, not for my bottom line. #BGBloggersChat

@BGbloggers A9. Like anything else, it works best when it inspires conversation. Don’t treat people like they are special to get them onto your list, and then forget that they are special and only ever try to sell them things. Talk to them, and invite them to talk to you. #BGBloggersChat
