Today I sat on the “Empowering Fatherhood” panel at the VA Black Maternal Health Summit during #BlackMaternalHealthWeek. We talked about the role fathers play in improving outcomes in the Black community.
I shared updates on legislation supporting fatherhood engagement and expanding presumptive pregnancy care. Better outcomes require real investment and intentional policy.
Appreciate Kenda Denia and @BirthinColor for leading this work and pushing us from awareness to action.
