Day 3 of #AChoraleADay Still in New Year 1726 - this is the opening #Chorale to #Bach’s #BWV16 “Herr Gott, dich loben wir”. It’s one where the chorale appears as a blazing cantus firmus. #CornoDaTirarsi #CornoNotCorona #BachTogether #HerrGottDichLobenWir #BachAThon

Plan A was to play, each day, a #Bach #Chorale written for that point in the liturgical calendar, but it’s Lent therefore there’s nothing to choose from 😕. Instead I’ll work through the year. Starting with #BWV16 “Herr Gott, dich loben wir” written for New Year’s Day 1726.
