Day 7 of #AChoraleADay & back to "Schau, lieber Gott, wie meine Feind" BWV 153. This dance like, upbeat final chorale "Drum will ich, weil ich lebe noch" is quite a contrast to the sombre opening chorale #CornoDaTirasi #CornoNotCorona #BachTogether #BachAThon #bbcessentialculture
Day 6 of #AChoraleADay From New Year 1735 (whoops should have done it yesterday if I'm being chronological!) the chorale "Jesus richte mein Beginnen" from part 4 of #Bach's Weihnachts-Oratorium BWV 248 #CornoDaTirasi #CornoNotCorona #BachTogether #BachAThon #bbcessentialculture

Bach Together; @Adamwoolf's on-line crowd-performance of the choral 'Ich will hier bei dir stehen' from Bach's St Matthew Passion. My article:

For AGES I've been promising myself to practise my corno da tirarsi more. This enforced quiet time, plus @Adamwoolf's #BachTogether initiative (more here: https://t.co/jQeQbRboP7) might be just what I need. Hoping for a chorale a day. Everything's a bit better with Bach right?
So excited for tonight when @robcesternino and @stephenfishbach reunite for their first Know It Alls since last May! #bachtogether
