Week 5 of #backloggolf and l haven't picked up my SNES controller to playthrough the final worlds of DKC2 in nearly two full weeks. The increasing difficulty in stages in really beginning to frustrate me and game's end feels so distant. What do you do when you want to rage quit?
Going into week three of #backloggolf with my continued playthrough of Donkey Kong Country 2. I've experienced new stages and worlds that I had previously only seen in other people's playthroughs. It's been quite the ride - only three more worlds to go!
Continuing #backloggolf with another entry in the DKC franchise: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest. Another game that has alluded me for over two decades! I’ve never made it past the second world in any play throughs so it’s a lofty goal to roll credits on this one.
For this week in #backloggolf I’m working through a classic from my childhood where I never managed to make it through the first world: Donkey Kong Country. I am fiercely determined to roll credits on this game that gave younger Ashley much grief. Broke out the SNES for this one.

Tonight, I beat #VVVVVV. That makes the 34th game I've beaten since we started #BacklogGolf in April. I beat 6 in Jan-Mar, bringing my 2019 total up to 40 beaten games. In the same time, I've purchased 16 games, 4 of which I reviewed for @GeeksUnderGrace .
