Railway Ticket Examiner Vishal Navle caught a woman travelling on a fake UTS season ticket on the Kalyan–Dadar AC local. The ticket was tampered from an expired one.
Passenger Gudiya Sharma and her husband Omkar Sharma, who forged the ticket, have been booked under the BNS Act 2023.
Central Railway commended Navle for his diligence and reminded everyone: avoid fake tickets & use only authorised channels (UTS App, booking counters, etc.).
