#Pallaton #Raphanobrassica powering along in NW Tasmania, as a #dairy proof of concept trial. Sown 1st October, and will provide #transition option from #ryegrass pasture to #Barkant #Turnips high leaf:stem ratio. #rumen #adjustment @TIADairy @dairy_tas

Dryland #Barkant #Turnips establishing well as part of #ProgrammedApproach to #Pasture renewal in Northern Tasmania. This will provide #summer feed for #dairy #cows as well as prepare for #autumn pasture renovations. Thanks to Josh Cables @EldersLimited .

Great crop Ben, shows why #Barkant Turnips are still the most popular and consistent summer turnip (at this stage anyway - #watchthisspace ) #Dairy #Forage #Turnip

#Summer #Forage options progressing well in Northern #Tasmania. #Barkant #Turnips and #Pallaton #Raphanobrassica sown 9th October, and #Corson T9 #Maize sown 27th October. Rain,warmth and fertiliser will now drive #yield. ⁦@RedMeatUpdates⁩ ⁦@TIADairy⁩

#Barkant #Turnip still providing #consistent results as a summer feed option for #dairy cows. High quality feed with excellent utilisation. Follow up with a high quality #perennial #ryegrass and #Clover Blend. #ProgrammedApproach https://t.co/i9x4si0eTx
