UPDATE on @WandswrthLabour’s secret plan to sell off assets. At tomorrow’s @wandbc meeting, they can now vote to:
• Publish the document.
• Secure #BatterseaLibrary.
• Come clean on the other sites.
But will they?

It’s not clear whether the staff of @wandsworthlibs, the heritage service @Better_WHS or citizens advice @WandCAB have been asked for their view.
@MatthewCorner asked the Cabinet Member for Finance to rule out selling the listed #BatterseaLibrary building. She refused.
The Council’s secret plan is more forthcoming.
Even though it acknowledges the “civic importance” of the listed #BatterseaLibrary, it argues sale and relocation are “worth careful consideration”.
