My friend, I can honestly say, what you said is objectively false I work in law enforcement and have seen crime drop and deportations rise I paid $1,000 less in taxes this year I would encourage you to step away from doomers and naysayers. We are actually making progress and stand to lose all of it if Dems take power again

Happy Memorial Day!!! When I was a kid this was a fun vacation that marked the start of summer. Then people started to make others feel guilty about enjoying it because it is actually for our troops who died in combat. But then I served in Iraq and ended up knowing some guys who ended up dying in combat. And to a guy, I think every single one of them would have wanted you to have a great time with people you love on your long weekend!!!! So definitely take some time to honor the fallen, but also have a great time and enjoy yourself!! Happy Memorial Day!!! ❤💚

I was talking to old timers at the family holiday functions and over the course of the conversation it dawned on me that we had completely different parental experiences w/r/t transporting children. To wit, the old timers (either as children or with their own children) would simply tell kids “get in” and the kids would get in and then driving began. Four or five kids could easily get in that one back seat with zero additional work from parents. Whereas I have to buy a whole new vehicle to have 3+ kids and then contort myself like a Cirque clown to get the kids into their space shuttle 5 point restraint seats and buckle them up individually. This happens EVERY TIME you depart or arrive ANYWHERE, for YEARS. Tens of thousands of times? At scale, it’s a massive difference and imposition.
