Finally able to upgrade to Big Sur. Apple blocked 2013/14 macs from upgrading by releasing 11.0.1. Now unblocked by 11.1 version. Sad they did not communicate about this @Apple #bigsurupdate #BigSur #macOSBigSur #Apple #MacBookPro13 #failure #applesupport

If you haven't upgraded to #BigSur my personal suggestion is don't.

If you own an #Apple #MacBookPro or #MacBookAir and are considering #bigsurupdate you should keep an eye on the battery drain issue. Apple says it's just Spotlight (and I can confirm mds_worker proc running 95% CPU) but the cynical say it's planned obsolescence to sell M1.
Just updated the macOS on my iMac to 11.0.1 Big Sur. Visually enjoying it so far. Not as big a change, but I’m reminded of the time I moved from OS 9 to OS X. #OS9 #OSX #BigSurUpdate #iMac
