@JackPribek #BillDees meeting @ROYORBISON had to have been fate. Since the song was released until now, I doubt there’s a person over the age of 12 that doesn’t recognize Oh Pretty Woman within the first 5 seconds of the song. I don’t think there is another song more recognizable = fate!
Most conversations I had with #BillDees ended with “Mr Style, later on, if you get a chance,” he’d pause, then say “take it”. I’m sure @JackPribek is sitting on tons of Bill wisdom, photos & material as he was his right hand man while Bill was still living his “heaven on earth”
Not a day passes I don’t think of my friend/mentor, the legend #BillDees, he passed away 11 years ago today. I’ve never met anyone like him, he was “pure songwriter”. Here’s a video from my last visit with him. I’m so grateful to have had him in my life.

Great to hear #BillDees & @ROYORBISON on #BigLittleLies this season singing “It’s Over”. It’s amazing that Bill wrote most of those lyrics when he was just in grade school. I’m glad their memory is alive and the music lives on thanks to Roy’s stellar estate/publishing company.
I saw #AStarIsBorn and was amazed the only cover song was #OhPrettyWoman cowritten by @ROYORBISON & my friend/mentor #BillDees -wish they were alive to witness that! Whenever Bill saw a pretty lady, he'd say "I wrote a song about you" & they'd light up when he'd sing it to them.
One of my top memories is getting to spend time with #JimmieRodgers, seeing his shows in Branson and introducing him to my friend #BillDees who wrote the other "It's Over" - both equally amazing songs. It must be hard for him for the constant mixup on his name/music. #LongliveJR
